Why is CrossFit such a revolutionary force in the fitness community? What sets CrossFit apart from most other fitness programs? Why does CrossFit elicit more results than, let’s say, Zumba, marathon running, or bicep curls?

Why is the CrossFit prescription so damn effective?

 

People speak ill CrossFit for any number of reasons. Some things I’ve heard:

“It’s too hard.”

“The weights are too light.”

“The weights are too heavy.”

“It’s stupid.”

“Oh my God they do kipping pull-ups.”

“They wear high socks sometimes.”

The list goes on and on and on.

What fuels you?

 

What gives you that extra push?

What is something that keeps you going even when your body doesn't feel like it can?

Do you even have something to fall back on?

Something to think about, a place you can go to in your mind that convinces you that you can continue.

Because it's mind over matter.

You're mind is stronger than your body.

Are you externally motivated? Someone yelling at your or clapping for you.

Are you internally motivated?

Keeping to yourself, talking to yourself in your head.
